How To Recover From Psychic Attack

Psychic attack can look like many things; sometimes it’s unintentional, like the friend who always complains and after spending time together he/she leaves feeling happier but you end up feeling worse. Sometimes it is intentional; like the co-worker who is jealous of your new promotion, and who secretly sends prayers and intentions for you to suffer. Ultimately psychic attacks all boil down to 1 of 2 options; either someone is taking energy from you without your permission, or someone sending negative energy to you.

There are some tell-tale signs that you are under psychic attack. This includes: feeling drained or exhausted for no reason, feeling extra irritable, having trouble looking in the mirror, family members arguing more than usual, it can even include feeling like you’re being watched. When this happens, the most important thing to remember is that no one else’s wishes can ever overcome your own will for your own life. You are the boss of yourself and so you shall remain, no matter what anyone else wants. This is important to remember because part of the process is for the perpetrator to feel superior, and only you have the power to allow them power over you or deny it.

The next thing to do is to break the energetic attack by practicing self-protection methods. If you follow a particular faith, most likely there is already a standard of practice that you might wish to include, but there are some that are universally good. Here is a list of my top 4 recommendations, and how to use them:

Salt Baths: One of the best ways to remove negative attachments and energy is to soak in a nice salt water bath for at least 30 minutes; longer if you can. Himalayan salt is my favourite but Sea Salt, table salt will work as well. Use about a cup or more, but remember to really rinse the bathtub when you are done as salt is corrosive and could cause damage if left to sit.

Protective Crystals: Wearing protective crystals either as jewelry or loose in your pocket or bra helps you to stay grounded and protected from negative energy. When it comes to psychic attacks, my personal favourites are Jet, Red Jasper, Bronzite and Apache Tear. Remember to put them in sunlight or moonlight to recharge them regularly.

Protective Amulets: There is a reason that amulets have been so popular for thousands of years; it’s because they work! Pick a symbol that best resonates with you. Some of the most popular choices are Evil Eye/ Hamsa, Ankh, cross, angel wings, feng shui wulou, and pentacle. Psst: it doesn’t have to be visible to others in order to be helpful.
